Adding extra audio systems to existing OEM audio systems is becoming more and more difficult as today's factory radios either lack preamp outputs or incorporate special speaker diagnostic capabilities. That's where the new Helix AAC.3 HP comes into play

  The smartest high-low converter in its class

Forget error messages or missing features (eg the fader) - the built-in ADEP.3 circuitry intelligently "bypasses" speaker diagnostics on factory car radios. Distorted sounds and increased THD that can occur with conventional high-low frequency converters are also prevented. The good thing is that ADEP.3 does not unnecessarily load the car radio amplifier and therefore reduces its current consumption by up to 70 %.

 
Intelligent signal detection

The "Dual Turn-On Circuit" produces a +12 V Remote-Turn-On signal to turn on the connected power amplifiers in two different ways. It either detects a DC difference at the factory radio speaker outputs or uses the built-in, variable-sensitivity switchable signal detection capability.
In addition, the AAC.3 incorporates Audiotec Fischer's patented "Power Save Mode", which disables the Remote-Turn-On signal if there is no music signal for more than 2 minutes. This is really a big plus as many cars with "CAN" or similar BUS architecture keep the radio invisibly "alive" for up to 45 minutes. even if you have already left the car in the meantime.

 
 
High resolution ready

The AAC.3 HP produces a high-quality preamplifier signal from the speaker output of a factory amplifier and thus allows the easy connection of additional amplifiers.

Its wide frequency response from 18 Hz to 80,000 Hz guarantees excellent sound quality and makes this High to Low converter for high-resolution audio reproduction.

For OEM audio systems without a factory-assembled amplifier, we recommend using AAC.3.

This has been specially developed to connect directly to the speaker outputs of the factory radio.
