MATCH PP 86DSP

The power of the MATCH series for separate and specialized sound systems - with at least eight amplification channels and even nine separate DSP channels make this extremely powerful Plug & Play amplifier a sound virtuoso for expanding factory sound systems.

The "heart" of the PP 86DSP is a latest generation 64-bit processor with enormous processing power and ultimate sound optimization capabilities. The package is completed by Audiotec Fischer's proprietary Class HD technology that combines maximum performance with minimum space requirements.

In addition to a 6-channel high level input with ADEP (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection) circuitry, the PP 86DSP is equally well equipped with a MATCH expansion card slot. This allows the addition of further connections such as a Bluetooth ® Audio Streaming extension or a USB High Resolution Audio sound card.

Thanks to the professional and user-friendly DSP software PC-Tool V4 with its multiple new functions, a separate sound setup becomes a simple and intuitive affair. No doubt - an audio upgrade with this amp will be a lot of fun.

Special characteristics

Class HD technology
The PP 86DSP combines the advantages of Class H technology with the principle of a Class D amplifier. The result is an unsurpassed performance that easily surpasses any conventional Class D amplifier. By varying the internal supply voltage according to the amplitude of the amplifier's input signals, the losses in quiescent states they are greatly reduced and the total efficiency is close to the maximum at all times.

Smart high level input
The latest generation of factory car radios incorporates sophisticated diagnostic capabilities of the connected speakers. If an ordinary amplifier is connected, failure messages and loss of certain features (eg fader function) often occur. Additionally, the new concepts of power stage in some radios can cause unbalanced output signals that lead to distortion in the AD converters.
The new ADEP.2 (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 2nd generation) circuit avoids all these problems without overloading the factory radio speaker outputs during unnecessarily high volumes.

Start-Stop capability
The AC power supply of the MATCH PP 86DSP ensures a constant internal supply voltage even if the battery voltage drops to 6 Volts when the engine is started. If the supply voltage drops below 10.5 Volts for more than five seconds, the amplifier goes into "Run Protection" (status LED lights up red) to prevent any further discharge of the car battery.

Automatic digital signal detection

The transition from analog input to digital input is done automatically as soon as a signal is detected in the Optical Input. This feature can be disabled in the DSP PC-Tool software. Alternatively, you can use an optional remote control for manual operation
switch between analog and digital inputs.

Energy saving function

The power saving function is built into the basic setting. It allows to significantly reduce the power consumption of the PP 86DSP and possibly connected amplifiers when there is no input signal for more than 60 seconds. Please note that in many new cars with "CAN" or any other operating protocol it can happen that the radio stays "invisible" on for up to 45 minutes. even after locking and exiting the car! Once "Energy Saver Mode" is active, the remote output and therefore the connected amplifiers will be switched off. The MATCH PP 86DSP will reactivate the remote output within one second if a music signal is applied. It is possible to modify the 60 second shutdown time. or completely disable the power saving function via the DSP PC-Tool software.

Note: For car radios without ISO connectors an additional ISO adapter (PP-AC cable cable) is required, which must be connected between the ISO wiring (PP-ISO) and the car radio.
