MATCH UP 7DSP

The UP 7DSP is the most powerful MSP DSP amplifier and features our new ADEP.3 circuit. It offers a total of seven channels of amplification as well as an additional preamplifier output, which allows - in combination with the integrated 8-channel DSP - to perfectly drive individual and complex speaker configurations. Two of the output channels deliver 160 Watts RMS into 2 Ohms - plenty enough to power even large subwoofers.

But pure power is nothing without "intelligent control" - that's why the UP 7DSP incorporates an amazingly powerful 64 bit DSP of the latest generation, which enables the implementation of brand new revolutionary and unique sound features such as "Enhanced Bass Processing", "StageXpander ” or the “ RealCenter ” mode. Trust us - you will have a truly amazing sound experience.

But that's not enough - just enjoy music from your smartphone in unprecedented quality. The UP 7DSP comes with a MATCH Expansion Card (MEC) slot for additional input and output connections, such as of a Bluetooth ® Audio Streaming or USB High Resolution Audio sound card.

If the UP 7DSP's 4 high level inputs are not enough for your project, you can upgrade the amplifier with the MEC ANALOG IN module. This expands the amplifier with two additional analog input channels. This section allows the

Of course, the additional 2 high level inputs provide the proprietary ADEP.3 circuit, the Auto Remote function as well as an adjustable sensitivity input from 1.5 to 30 Volts. Just like the high level input, the 3.5mm stereo low level input offers adjustable sensitivity. The adjustment range is from 0.5 to 8 Volts.

Thanks to the professional and user-friendly DSP software PC-Tool V4, the configuration and adjustment of the UP 7DSP is quite simple and intuitive.

Special characteristics

Class HD technology
The UP 7DSP combines the advantages of a Class H technology with the principle of a Class D amplifier. The result is a remarkable performance that easily surpasses any conventional Class D amplifier. In quiescent situations they are significantly reduced and the performance is close to maximum at all times.

Intelligent input high level ADEP.3
Modern, factory-installed car radios incorporate sophisticated diagnostic capabilities for connected speakers. In particular, the latest generation of car radios are equipped with additional monitoring functions, so that failure messages and loss of certain features (eg fader function) are often displayed if an amplifier is connected - but not with the UP 7DSP.
The new ADEP.3 (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 3rd Generation) circuit avoids all these problems without overloading the factory radio speaker outputs during unnecessarily high volumes.

Start-Stop capability
The MATCH UP 7DSP's AC power supply ensures a constant internal supply voltage even if the battery voltage drops to 6 Volts when the engine is started. If the supply voltage drops below 10.5 Volts for more than five seconds, the amplifier goes into "Run Protection" (status LED lights up red) to prevent further discharge of the car battery.
Automatic digital signal detection
The transition from analog input to digital input is done automatically as soon as a signal is detected in the Optical Input. This feature can be disabled in the DSP PC-Tool software. Alternatively, you can use an optional remote control to manually switch between analog and digital inputs.

Energy saving function
The power saving function is built into the basic setting. It allows to significantly reduce the power consumption of the UP 7DSP and possibly connected amplifiers when there is no input signal for more than 60 seconds. Please note that in many updated cars with "CAN" or any other form of protocol it can happen that the radio stays "invisible" on for up to 45 minutes. even after locking and exiting the car. As soon as "Energy saving mode" is active, the remote output and therefore the connected amplifiers will be switched off. The MATCH UP 7DSP will reactivate the remote output within one second if a music signal is applied. It is possible to modify the 60 second shutdown time. or completely disable the power saving function via the DSP PC-Tool software.

DSP features

RealCenter
The "RealCenter" function is an algorithm, developed by Audiotec Fischer, which emphasizes the musical information present in the left and right front channels to create a unique center signal. Unlike common procedures, in which only the channels are summed, the intensity of the center signal is also dynamically controlled by the stereo information content of the left and right channels.
It sounds complicated but this result is amazing: This means that if only the left or right channel emits an audio signal, the center channel will not reproduce a signal. In the case of common algorithms, the volume level of the center channel is reduced by only 6 dB (= half the volume level). Audiotec Fischer's "RealCenter" enables a unique, expanded audio performance for driver and passenger at the same time! Therefore, the disadvantages of a conventional center channel, such as an intrusive, small soundstage, are a thing of the past.

Improved bass processing
Audiotec Fischer's proprietary "Augmented Bass Processing", consisting of the two revolutionary sound features "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" and "SubXpander", has been specially developed to significantly improve the bass reproduction of subwoofers.
"Dynamic Bass Enhancement" intelligently combines maximum deep bass and higher sound pressure - regardless of music style or audio controls on the head unit. Depending on the input signal, "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" acquires the lowest frequency range and changes the subwoofer's cutoff frequency. The result is a significantly stronger and deeper bass response at low and medium volumes without the risk of overloading the subwoofer mechanically or electrically at high volume levels. It's simply fascinating what bass performance is suddenly capable of.
If you want even lower and "deeper" bass reproduction, the "SubXpander" can be additionally activated. Therefore, the subharmonic tones are added to the fundamental tones in the frequency range between 50 and 100 Hz.

StageXpander
Depending on the arrangement of the speakers in the vehicle, a more or less wide stereo sound stage can be created in the front seats. A center speaker can further limit the spatial reproduction of music. This is where Audiotec Fischer's new "StageXpander" comes in - a sound feature that seems to break acoustic limitations and thus allows a wider stereo base to be created without adversely affecting the accuracy of vocal or instrument localization!
The effect can be adjusted according to your personal preferences in four steps.

ClarityXpander
Looking for more transparency and substance in your high frequency reproduction? With "ClarityXpander" Audiotec Fischer now offers the right tool. With the right setting (and therefore selectable in three steps), the function adds extra harmonics to the upper frequency range - this is especially useful if the original speakers lack some sparkle in their high-frequency response. Additional treble is not only available for the two front channels but also separately adjustable for the center channel. Even better - the center channel allows you to activate an automatic and dynamic control, so that music with "loads" of treble does not tire your hearing.
