Even more compact design
The all-new Smart Control Port (SCP) offers a significant space-saving connection due to its extremely small connector.

Through the SCP, all Audiotec Fischer remote controls - such as CONDUCTOR or URC.3 - can be easily connected and placed even in the smallest installation spaces.

With the new protocol, a separate power supply to the controls is no longer needed, thus simplifying the installation even more.

Power on demand
The M 5.4DSP features two power modes, allowing it to run in either "HighPower" mode for maximum performance or "MidPower" mode with reduced output power and lower power consumption for Plug & Play applications without a separate power supply.

Maximum flexibility
The extremely powerful 64-bit audio processor offers 9 channels of DSP.

4 freely adjustable RCA outputs allow the connection of additional amplifiers, such as the MATCH M 2.1AMP amplifier. This enables complex and multi-channel space-saving systems with enormous efficiency.

Virtual Channel Processing - the new era of signal routing
To handle the mass of DSP channels and configure them in a user-friendly way, the M 5.4DSP is equipped with Audiotec Fischer's innovative Virtual Channel Processing. Modern factory audio systems with an increasing number of inputs have a significant effect on the complexity of signal routing within the amplifier. Especially when many input signals are first mixed and then split again into multi-way systems, conventional routing concepts quickly reach their limits. Audiotec Fischer's new multi-stage "Virtual Channel Edit", combined with the familiar and user-friendly DSP PC-Tool software, makes complex system configurations look easy. In addition, it allows the assignment of free proprietary audio FX features such as "RealCenter" or "Augmented Bass Processing".

ACO - Advanced Platform CoProcessor 32 Bit
The M 5.4DSP features the extremely powerful 32-bit ACO platform. It takes care of all control tasks and is faster than traditional systems, especially in data communication with DSP PC-Tool software. The ACO platform even introduces a quick switch between up to 10 audio memories. But ACO offers much more. Fantastic sound effects, such as Augmented Bass Processing or RealCenter, are tools for maximizing the sound experience. In addition, the separate for each input EQ channel including the input signal analyzer (ISA) allows easy analysis and compensation of the input signals provided by modern radios.

Special characteristics:

GD class technology

Audiotec Fischer's Class GD concept takes the performance of conventional Class D amplifiers to the next level. By varying the internal supply voltage in steps depending on the input signals of the amplifier, the idle losses are greatly reduced and the overall efficiency is close to the maximum at all times. Thus, heat dissipation is almost negligible, thus allowing for smaller heatsinks and more compact form factors.

ACO - Advanced 32-bit processor
The MATCH M 5.4DSP amplifier incorporates an extremely powerful 32-bit processor of the latest generation for all monitoring and communication tasks, both internal and external. Unlike the previous 8-Bit generation, this MCU achieves much higher speeds in terms of changing settings and communicating data with DSP PC-Tool software. Another major advantage is CoProcessor's built-in, native bootloader. It allows software upgrades of all DSP components in order to configure the ADEP.3 circuit controlled by the microcontroller, for example in future modifications / changes to the diagnostic system of factory radios or if the device is to be expanded with additional interfaces. In addition, thanks to the new flash memory, the ACO offers 10 memory locations for sound settings instead of the common two.
Start-Stop capability
The MATCH M 5.4DSP's power switching ensures a constant internal supply voltage even if the battery voltage drops to 6 volts when the engine is started.

Modern, factory-installed car radios include sophisticated diagnostic capabilities for connected speakers. In particular, the latest generation of car radios are equipped with additional monitoring functions, so that failure messages and the loss of certain features (eg fader function) will appear quite often if a common amplifier will be connected - but not with the M 5.4DSP
The new ADEP.3 (Advanced Diagnostics Error Protection, 3rd Generation) circuit avoids all these problems without unnecessarily loading the OE radio speaker outputs at high volumes.

DSP features

RealCenter
The "RealCenter" function is an algorithm, developed by Audiotec Fischer, which emphasizes the musical information present in both the left and right front channels to create a unique center signal. Unlike common procedures, in which only the channels are summed, the center signal intensity is also dynamically controlled by the stereo information content of the left and right channels.
It sounds complicated, but this result is surprising: This means that if only the left or right channels produce an audio signal, the center channel will not reproduce a signal. In the case of common algorithms, the volume level of the center channel is reduced by only 6 dB (= half volume level). Audiotec Fischer's “RealCenter” enables a unique, expanded soundstage for both driver and passenger! Therefore, the disadvantages of a conventional center channel, such as an annoying, small soundstage, are a thing of the past.

Increased bass processing
Audiotec Fischer's proprietary "Augmented Bass Processing", consisting of the two revolutionary sound features "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" and "SubXpander", has been specially developed to dramatically improve the bass reproduction of subwoofers.
"Dynamic Bass Enhancement" intelligently combines maximum deep bass and higher sound pressure - regardless of music style or tone controls on the head unit. Depending on the input signal, "Dynamic Bass Enhancement" acquires the lowest frequency range and changes the cutoff frequency of the subwoofer. The result is a much stronger and deeper bass response at low and medium volume levels without the risk of overloading the subwoofer either mechanically or electrically at high volume levels. It's just fascinating what bass performance is suddenly possible.
If you want an even lower and "darker" bass reproduction, you can activate the "SubXpander". Therefore, the subharmonics are added to the fundamental tones in the frequency range between 50 and 100 Hz.

StageXpander
Depending on the arrangement of the speakers in the vehicle, more or less wide stereo sound can be generated in the front seats. A center speaker can further limit the spatial reproduction of music. This is where Audiotec Fischer's new "StageXpander" comes in - a sound feature that seems to overcome acoustic limitations and thus allows a wider stereo base to be created without adversely affecting the accuracy of vocal or instrument localization!
The effect can be adjusted to your personal preferences in four steps.

ClarityXpander
Looking for more transparency and substance in your treble reproduction? With "ClarityXpander" Audiotec Fischer now offers the right tool. Correctly set (and therefore selectable in three steps) the function adds extra harmonics to the upper frequency range - this is especially useful if the original speakers lack some sparkle in the treble response. Extra treble is not only available for the two front channels but also separately adjustable for the center channel. Even better - the center channel allows the activation of an automatic and dynamic control, so that music with "loads" of treble does not tire your hearing.
